I, Gor, was born in year 1975 in the city of small country Estonia. It was cold night of 3rd of December (as I have heard from my mom and dad). My parents decided to give me a Greek-type name - George (right transcription as it should be pronounced in Russian is [Georgi]).

Fantasy ... this word is going with me through all my life. While I was young (hmm, I am not old now, but I cannot write small, 'cause it is not true, I was rather big that time already :P) and I just started to read, I have read all fairytale books we had at home and in nearest library. I hope non of you will object that fairytales are fantasy books, just for children. At age something like 11-12 I have tried first time to read Tolkien, and I failed. It seamed too boring for me. Once again i have started it at age 15 and than I have read it all and I was gone for all other books. I was lost in the world of Middle-Earth, I started looking for all kind of books with this theme, I have found a lot of good writers (as example: Zelazny, Perumov, Lukjanenko, Moorkok, Farmer and so on). I’m still reading almost only fantasy books, playing almost only RPG games (medieval or fantasy based), listening to fantasy-metal oriented music.

You can probably say - so what a big deal, and from you point of view you will be probably right, but for me I am already so deeply gone to fantasy (stile, not gone from real world though) world, that all other types of literature or ways of living are not acceptable for me.

Well, that’s it. This seamed to be short essay about me, and it become a story about how I got under “fantasy spell”, hehe, but it’s true and let it be so. May be later I will change something, may be.
