On 14.10.2002 our Guild became four years old! We are happy to congratulate all our members with this date. Long live Estonian Bards Guild!

Another Estonian Bards Guild Meeting is finally over and there must be done a review. Eleven bards got together on a very shiny evening at the harbour of Pirita. Those were: Luna, Deedlit, Violet, Alex Carlos, TMH Snake, Phantom, Meldariel, ZX, Racoon, Sir Kostroman, Boris The Black.

Finally we have our own game! This terrific arcade game is called Bards Scroll. You can download it from http://www.bards.ee/game/index.html. Top scores are listed in online system in FUN / B-Scroll section. Have Fun!

Finally first official Bards Guild Meeting took a place. It was really nice to see all new faces, which were shining with eagerness of meeting new people not in virtual world but in a real one as well.

Trip To Moscow.
When we first heard that Blind Guardian will first time ever visit Russia, we decided not to leave this event without our presence. 7 bards were chosen to be a part of our Guild's delegation to Moscow: Gor, Boris, Sanchez, Actulus, SK, Phantom and ZX. We took some gifts with us for the band in case we are lucky to meet them there. So the trip began....

So, here is the true story of absolutely crazy trip.
I was there and I know that it was like that. As You all know the world premiere of the movie “Lord Of The Rings” was on 19-th of December 2001. Here in our motherland Estonia this movie started to please our hearts only on 11 of January 2002, so You can imagine our eagerness to see it earlier than it would be here. So we have decided to go.
|
Once we had a trip to Germany in far ’98 and we decided to make the bigger one. So Gor, Lorien, Sanchez, Yankee, Actulus, Juliet and your obedient servant Boris Black gathered together for a trip. It was very beautiful morning when we have saddled our horses and started to move.

Hail to everybody and HAIL to our best friends Sir Kostroman and sweatiest Angel.
Finally after ten years of living together they have decided to dedicate their lives to each other by wearing rings in the palace of marriage. Everybody who was there, including me, had blessed by their happiness and love. The whole party really looked like a real wedding (I am telling “like real” because none of us believed that it finally could happen).There were too many people so if you would count them, You will need more than 10 hands :). In a whole the ceremony was made almost in medieval style – Viking rings, horseback riding and a lot of pure crystal wine to everybody. The town was shocked by beautiful pair: bride on a black stallion and groom on the white one. Newspapers have named this wedding as the most beautiful wedding of the year. So Sir and Angel have won awards here also :) As na apogee of the party, the bride was stolen and the groom was running all over the party place to find her :). Guess what happened next! Of course Tristan finally found his Isolda, but with only one exeption they are still alive and live together happily and in love.

Today I would like to tell you about a big journey that some of our bards have not experienced for a long time.
Angel, Sanchez, Gor, Sir Kostroman, Helga and Angel’s father were those brave bards who travelled through this noble trip, Piranja accompanied them but only as a fellow traveller.
Angel offered us an unforgettable horsebackriding-journey, which took place in southern part of our small country. First we were little bit afraid of such a quest, because our minds were so unprepared, nevertheless, later (thanks to Angel) we deeply liked the idea, so we have decided to accept it. I have to confess – it was the right decision! As usually Angel was right Angel. J

time somebody else is writing news for Bards Guild, but Master Gor. So, after such long-drawn period of silence during the summer time, we are back to show some activity. One of the pleasant things we got lately is the ring for the Bard's Guild members. All gratitude is devoted to Sir Kostroman, who found that exquisite piece of art for us. As for the future, we've got some interesting ideas… and their implementation will require some skills from members-participants. Being undoubtedly an actual Master for everybody in horseback riding skills I feel compelled to acknowledge the fact that mentioned skill is slowly improving and in the near future will need just some polishing. Next spring I am conducting a trial for that, where the Guild's members will try the saddle taste in their mouths, in the true sense of it. It will be a few days Quest for real romance, wild nature, mountains and lake chains. I believe that's enough news for the firs time, and not so bad, huh?

On 11/10/99 the new era for guild's creators has started! "Magic, The Gathering"!!! was discovered by us, with the king help of NightbladE. Starting with that moment we have one more favorite real-time game! Hopefully in the nearest future i am going to prepare some information concerning hobbies of our members. Mentioned information is going to be placed on this site.

At first I had a desire to write more about concert of Iron Maiden we were going to visit, but due to the absence of almost all our members on this concert (just me and Replicant - one of our members)i think ill post this info on my personal page. By the way! Soon we are going to have MANOWAR in Tallinn again!!!!!! According to the rumors the concert will be held on 30/11/99 so beware!!!

We had terrific g-summer meeting in the forest at the seaside (check the *Photo* section - In the forest) It was very nice and spiritually appropriate meeting! we wish all bards can meet in such a beautiful place and sing a *Bard's song* together :) by GOR

HAIL TO THE GUILD!!! Trip to Wacken was unforgettably interesting, we crossed 3 countries and finished in 4th! Wacken Open Air concert was amazing!!! 30.000 ppl and 60 Metal bands playing... At last we managed to see BG live! (absolutely fantastic!) And during those days a lot of miracles happened to us: we met all (almost) bards from #Tavern channel and BG mailing list. We made Bard's circle from tents :) and we even had face-to-face talk to Andre!! (BG guitarist). U can see almost all our trip in pictures at the *Photo* section...
