Estonian Bards Guild is a growing up unity of people who find common in their interests in fantasy, art and beauty of nature, first started as a fan club of German heavy folk metal band Blind Guardian and J.R.R. Tolkien Fantasy Trilogy it is now grown into more complex society of fantasy literature art and music admirers. The main purpose of Our Guild is - communication between people from all over the world using mailing lists, forums, chats, or even real live meetings. With a help of Bards Guild people share information regarding all kind of past or upcoming events related to fantasy - books, movies, music, art and games. Bards Guild also keeps all information on its members so each of them can contact other anytime in virtual or real life.

Guild is always open for new members but there are some rules that each must obey.

RULE I

You must share interests of Our Guild.

Which are fantasy related art, music, games, nature, traveling and so on.

RULE II

You must know who J.R.R. Tolkien is.

Being a father of Fantasy in general he really earned it.

RULE III

Being a Bard you must act like one.

Do not use slang or bad words while communicating with others.

RULE IV

Show activity.

Keeping silence, being unreachable, not responding to our requests is equal to decision of leaving our guild.

RULE V

You must know who Blind Guardian is.

So you will not feel uncomfortable since we discuss them often (check our music section).

RULE VI

You must always promote Bards Guild.

Tell about us to your friends, register us in search engines, links and awards giving sites.

RULE VII

Let your brain work.

Your fresh ideas about different contests, polls, even online gaming is more than welcome.

RULE VIII

You must provide any possible help for other members.

One of the purposes of this community is to help each other in this cruel world.

RULE IX

Rules can be changed only by Creators and changes are nonnegotiable.

Once you find all rules are clear and you can obey them welcome to join us. Otherwise we believe there is no sense in your presence here.

In case of Creators positive decision on you join request you will be subscribed to our Bards Guild Mailing List.

Please remember that our official Guild Language is English, and we never use slang while communicate. For the questions concerning Mailing list removal or mail change contact person responsible for it.

There are 6 different ranks in our Guild. They slightly differ from each other, still being more or less equal. The purpose of an each rank is to classify member due to his deeds and actions. There are no ladder-like differences in getting a rank. Each one is good.
Which is more suitable for you, you can always tell us, but the decision of a rank changing is made by Creators only.

Wonderer - is a person who recently joined our Guild, who hasn’t yet decide what he is capable of, just looking around. He has no right of having his own room, only a common wonderer text line in Wonderers List section. You will need to have at least one award to change your rank.

Devotee - is a bard who truly decided to stay in a Guild for a long time. Having already done something for the guild and shown some activity. He has a right of having his own room, with his personal Devotee Image.

Adept – is a member who already spent some time with Guild. He must have some awards by this time, showing more activity and sharing new ideas. He has a right of having his own room, with personal Adept Image made from his photo by Creators or Masters.

Master - is a true loyal bard who is really gifted with some sort of mastery which he shares with the guild. He can be a skillful in anything good for Guild prosperity. It can be either a computer graphic artist, traditional artist, software developer etc. He has a right to have his own room, with a personal Master image developed by Creators or Masters. He also has a privilege of having his Fantasy Sketch.

Veteran - true loyal bard who spent a lot of time being a member, or even in real live meetings with other bards. He has a right of having his own room, with a personal Veteran image made from his photo by Creators or Masters. He also has a privilege of having his Fantasy Sketch.

Creator - is a bard whose head was visited by the idea of creating the guild. This class cannot be reached.

Hero - is not a rank at all. Those are our inspirators and our gratitude to them is endless.
